Organ Pizza!

Also on the agenda for the Phoenix trip was a visit to the Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa, Arizona
which featured the above mighty Wurlitzer theater organ, with over 5,500 pipes.

I kept joking about when we were going to have our organ pizza, imagining chopped liver or
shredded beef tongue on our pizzas, but we in fact ate a fairly ordinary pizza:

The grey-haired organist that played that night was the same man who used to play the organ at The Roaring 20's in Michigan back in the 70's and 80's. He may be aging, but he still gave an impeccable performance on the organ, while activating herald trumpets from the back, a grand piano, a drum set, accordions and more.

Familiar pop tunes and movie themes kept us singing and tapping. Our expectations were exceeded!
