A packed picnic and a road trip to the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument was enough activity for one day. One member of our group was resting frequently:
Have you ever heard of this place--one of our National Monuments? There was a video, a tour and lots of artifacts in the small museum here. If you are 62, a national parks pass of $10 will get you into this park and all parks for a lifetime. Very interesting bit of early history from a time long before our European ancestors arrived on the scene. Google it!
