The Big Picture

My new picture window

Not too much going on this week at This Old House. We have a sample of the siding which I picked up at Menards Saturday, so now we can color match it at the paint store. It will look so totally different! We are priming and prepping the brick to repaint in a clay color (natural clay and savannah wicker) to match the darker trim color of the siding, which hopefully will be installed sometime in September.

Meanwhile, I am trying to see the big picture....and I have a new picture window! I put up a hanging sun catcher crystal thing, so that we don't try to walk right through the clean window onto the deck. I sometimes pin up a sheet, but we have no window treatments for this window...
